Meet

The journey to where I am now is quite unexpected. I graduated with a Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Studies, with a minor in marketing. Despite working in the school district, my passion for marketing never waned. It was after the arrival of my first child that I realized the potential of pursuing marketing over teaching for my family's well-being and financial stability. Balancing brand deals alongside my role as a stay-at-home mom allowed me to explore the field further. When a brand offered me a full-time content creation position, I eagerly embraced it, immersing myself in the intricacies of a comprehensive marketing team.

Transitioning into a marketing specialist role was a natural progression fueled by my passion. However, fate had its own plans. Just a month into my new position, the company unexpectedly parted ways with the marketing director, leaving me with a mountain of responsibilities. Suddenly, I found myself as the sole member of the marketing team—a daunting task, to say the least. But necessity became the catalyst for growth. With no time to spare on ineffective strategies, I honed my skills in executing and tracking marketing initiatives, driven by the urgency of being a one-woman army.

As the saying goes, "there are no bad teams, only bad leaders," (thank you, Joko Wilink), I realized it was time to pave my own path. Giving a month's notice, I trained my replacement and ventured forth to establish my own agency.

In creating Socially, I pondered on my strengths and preferences within marketing. Social media stood out as my true passion, while traditional methods like email felt increasingly outdated in today's digital age. With inboxes overflowing daily, I recognized the shift towards paperless communication. Hence, I seized the opportunity to launch Socially—a Social Media Management Agency, offering businesses a cost-effective solution to enhance their online presence.
